HelioFleetDocs

Documentation

HelioFleet is remote iPhone infrastructure: dedicated real iPhones in our racks that your team controls from a browser tab. These pages cover getting access, using a device, running a team, billing, and what to do when something does not work. New here? Start with the overview.

Getting started

  • Overview

HelioFleet is remote iPhone infrastructure: dedicated real iPhones in our racks that your team controls from a browser tab, from one device at $50 per device per month, with unlimited users and unlim…

  • Request access

HelioFleet is approval-only. To get a tenant for your team, request access.

  • How leasing works

You don't supply hardware to HelioFleet. We do. This page explains what "leasing a device" actually means, what you control, and what stays ours.

  • Quickstart

This is the spine of the docs - the end-to-end path from "I just got my tenant credentials" to "I'm controlling an iPhone in my browser." Each step links into deeper pages for full reference material.

Using the console

  • Devices page

The Devices page is where you land after signing in. It's the inventory of every device leased to your tenant - what's free, what's in use, what's temporarily unreachable. Pick one and start a sessio…

  • Device control

Click Control → on an available device and you land here. This is where you actually drive the phone - tap with your mouse, type with your keyboard, swipe with the D-pad, manage apps on the side.

  • Dual-device control

Dual-device control puts two of your devices side by side in one control screen, so you can work on both without switching browser tabs. Both devices are locked to you for the whole session, and you…

  • Notifications

In-app notifications are how the HelioFleet team reaches you inside the console - service updates, scheduled maintenance, known issues, and anything else worth knowing without leaving the app.

Workspaces & team

  • Workspaces explained

Workspaces are how you slice a single tenant's device pool between different groups of people, without standing up multiple tenants. If your QA team and your dev team share the same HelioFleet accoun…

  • Inviting users

Tenant admins add new people to the tenant by sending an email invitation. The invitee picks their own password, lands inside your tenant, and shows up in the user list. You then assign them to the w…

  • Roles & permissions

A tenant has two roles. That's it - no custom roles, no per-feature toggles. The distinction is broad on purpose: admins run the tenant, users use devices.

Admin

  • Admin panel overviewadmin

The Admin panel is where tenant admins run the tenant - invite people, group them into workspaces, organize your leased devices, watch usage, and handle billing. Tenant users never see this panel.

  • Managing devicesadmin

The Admin → Devices tab is the master list of every device leased to your tenant. Devices arrive here ready to use - this tab is where you decide who in your organization can see each one.

  • Managing workspacesadmin

The Admin → Workspaces tab is where you create, name, and delete the access groups inside your tenant. For the underlying model (what a workspace is, how membership works, why you'd use them) read Wo…

Billing

  • Subscription & devices

A HelioFleet subscription is billed by device count. You pay for a number of devices, and we lease you that many real iPhones. Everything else (users, workspaces, sessions) is unlimited.

  • Invoices

HelioFleet doesn't store your invoices itself - billing runs through Stripe, and invoices live in the Stripe customer portal. The console gives you a one-click link to get there.

Troubleshooting

  • Session issues

This page covers things that go wrong inside a control session - locking the device, video not appearing, the connection feeling slow, or the session ending unexpectedly. For problems with the device…

  • Device issues

This page covers problems with a specific device - it's not in your list, it shows Offline, or an app action fails. For issues inside an active session, see Session issues.
